World Bank Gives Sh3 Billion for Three Roads in Nakuru

Three interchanges are being built in Nakuru county and funded by the World Bank at Sh3 billion.

Roads executive Joel Maina yesterday said the project is expected to be completed by mid next year.

He said the first interchange will be done at Kunste on the Nairobi-Nakuru highway to ease traffic congestion. The other two will be built at Soilo turn off on the Eldoret-Nakuru highway and Mau Summit at Total.

“The project is being funded by the World Bank in conjunction with the national and Nakuru county governments,” Maina said.
