Wajir Governor Makes Second Reshuffle to Improve Services

WAJIR Governor Ahmed Abdullahi has reshuffled his administration for the second time to improve services.

Announcing the reshuffle in his office yesterday, he said the changes will take effect immediately.

Mohamud Abdi is the new Public service executive.

He was previously in charge of Trade.

The Trade docket will now be led by Rukia Ahmed. She was formerly in charge of ICT amp; E-government.

Her two chief officers will be Mohamed Farah for ICT amp; E-government and Mohamed Mohamud for Trade and Tourism.

Farah Saman is the new chief of staff, while Birik Osman is the director of protocol.

Bashir Salah is the political adviser, while Sheikh Yussuf will act as the anti-radicalisation counselor.

Abass Abdullahi will be the chief officer for Decentralized Units and Public Participation.

Hillow Isack is the Chief Officer for Public Service and Special Programmes.

The governor had previously shuffled his government in February.
