The government will train talented youth – Wario

Sports, Culture and Arts Cabinet Secretary Dr. Hassan Wario has assured pastoralist communities that the government was fully committed to helping talented youth improve their lives.

Dr. Wario said the government had refurbished seven stadia across the country, among them, Marsabit County from upper Eastern with sitting capacity of 13, 500 people.

The CS said that Kenya earns a lot of money from sports and urged residents of northern Kenya to shun cattle rustling and banditry and instead nurture their talents especially in sport which can be a good source of income.

He said the government had expanded services to the pastoralist and advised Isiolo residents to support the government of the day as long as their interests are catered for.

The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) Chief Executive Officer Mr. Ezekiel Mutua and the acting Chairman Robert Kochale presented a digital still camera to the School’s press club, and a Sh500, 000 donation to fence the school and a further s00, 000 for sport kits as donation from the ministry.

Mr. Kochale said NASA leaders were in government before Uhuru Kenyatta joined the government and had not done much even in their own locations and so could not be relied upon to lead the country.

The former Laisamis MP and an assistant minister in President Moi’s government accused the NASA chiefs of perennial complaints.
