RESIDENTS of Tharaka Nithi should seek alternative methods to solve grievances instead of resorting to chaotic demonstrations, Governor Samuel Ragwa has said.
Speaking to press on Wednesday through his aide Mugao Ichenga, he said the protests taint the county’s image and scare investors away.
“A few days ago, residents barricaded roads in Kaanwa and in Maara residents demolished public toilets,” Ichenga said.
“Residents think if they demonstrate they taint the image of leaders but in real sense, they spoil the county’s image nationally.”
Ichenga said some individuals are inciting residents to hold demonstrations.
