The questionable academic programmes being offered by universities point to a bigger problem in our education system.
It is disturbing that our programmes are now questioned.
Just recently, the medical programme offered by Mount Kenya University in Rwanda was suspended. Engineering programmes and now law courses are being doubted by professional bodies.
Many diploma and certificate institutions are questionable. The Kenyan parent and student have been exploited for a long time. The time to remedy the situation is now.
Stringent measures are necessary to verify every programme offered by tertiary institutions.
