Six matches on the card as Kenya cup resumes

A total of six matches have been lined up as the Kenya Cup resumes on Saturday, 9 January, 2016 following the festive season break.

According to a statement on Thursday from Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) Champions KCB host Western Bulls at the ASK Jamhuri Park, while leaders Kenya Harlequin play away to Kabras Sugar at the Kakamega Showground.

Other matches on the day pit Top Fry Nakuru against Nondescripts at the Nakuru Athletic club with Blak Blad hosting Mean Machine at Kenyatta University.

Mwamba RFC welcomes Thika at the Nairobi Railway Club, with Resolution Impala Saracens taking on Bungoma’s Kenya Sharks at Impala Club.

KRU however, said that one fixture scheduled for the weekend had been postponed due to the death of Strathmore Leos player.

“The fixture between Pan Africa Strathmore Leos and Menengai Cream Homeboyz has been postponed following the death of Leos scrum half Geoffrey Githaiga and will be played at a later date”, read the statement.

All matches kick off at exactly 4p.m. Kenyan time.
