Property of unknown value was Wednesday night destroyed after a fire razed down a dormitory at Good Shepherd Girls Secondary School in Nzaui Sub County.
School authorities said nothing was salvaged in the 7pm fire.
Area OCPD Patrick Olonyi said police suspect the inferno could have been caused by an electric fault.
The school has been experiencing power outages but we have launched investigations to determine the real cause of the fire, said OCPD Olonyi.
He said students were in class for night preps when the fire occurred and no injuries were reported adding that four girls whose personal effects were burnt in the dormitory that houses 137 students fainted but were rushed to the hospital and treated.
The county fire brigade helped to put out the fire.
The fire incident comes barely three days after another dormitory was burned at Kyemundu secondary school in the same sub county.
