Molo residents have raised concerns over poor health services at the area level 4 hospital.
According to Gachoka Kariuki, a resident, this is a recurrent situation because he had visited the facility three times in a few days and found no clinical officer to attend to him.
Kariuki said that the problem was affecting poor residents who could not afford to visit private health facilities or to buy medication from private pharmacies.
His sentiments were echoed by Beatrice Njeri who said that she also faced the same when she brought her father for treatment and got no assistance.
Last year, many patients accessing services from the facility complained of being directed to buy medication from pharmacies reportedly owned by the clinical officer.
After a story was published by a section of the media, the area County Health Executive, Jonah Mwangi visited the facility to ascertain the situation.
The area political leadership called for thorough investigation into the matter.
However, one of the hospital administrators posted in one of the local social media platforms that the issue was being addressed by the management.
