Leaders in Kericho County on Tuesday called on the government investigations organs to ensure they bring the killers of the Cheborge high school teacher, Willy Sang and his wife to book.
The leaders, who included the Kericho County Deputy governor, Susan Kikwai, members of County assembly, Hesbon Tonui (Cheplanget) and William Soi (Chemosot) said the killing of the Cheborge high school teacher had robbed the County of a great teacher and community elder who helped in shaping the future of many students.
Willy Sang and his wife Evaline were murdered in cold blood in their Chesingoro village home last week. Three guests who were in the house at the time of the murder said they did not hear any commotions during the incident.
Hundreds of mourners who included, Cheborge High School students and teachers as well as teachers from Kericho and Bomet Counties attended the requiem mass that was held at the school.
The deceased will be laid to rest today at their Leldet farm in Kipkellion west Constituency, Kericho County.
