Physically challenged boy appeals for sponsorship

A physically challenged boy from Daua Integrated Primary School on the outskirts of Mandera town is calling on the government and well-wishers to assist him continue with his high school education.

Rage Mohamed scored 323 in the 2015 KCPE despite his inability to walk.

Rage told the press on Friday from Daua Primary School grounds that his 73 year old mother could not be able to pay for his form one school fees.

He said his father passed on when he was still young forcing him to ask the school to fend for his needs since he was in standard one.

Efforts by the school’s administration to look for funding from Kenya Commercial Bank Foundation had hit a snug.

The school has seven other physically challenged children.
