Luanda MP Chirs Omulele has tabled a bill in the National Assembly for setting up of a tribunal to resolve the Maseno boundary dispute.
Omulele said the bill, which has been approved by Speaker Justin Muturi, is seeking a permanent solution to the boundary row pitting Kisumu and Vihiga counties.
Two weeks ago, Vihiga Senator George Khaniri said the Senate was drafting a bill that will correct all the boundaries in the country, including Maseno.
“If the bill is passed, a tribunal will be sent to Maseno to listen to views of residents and give a direction on the matter,” Omulele said.
He was speaking at Emusenjeli village during a meeting with the Abamutete Walfare Group on Sunday.
