Matatu operators in Ongata Rongai have expressed outrage at the poor drainage along Magadi road terming it a recipe for accidents.
The angry operators urged the County Government of Kajiado to move with speed to seal all open drainages along the road to avert disaster and protect other road users.
Speaking to Kenya News Agency Friday in Ongata Rongai town, Orokise Sacco Chairman John Kinuthia said many vehicles had plunged into the shallow open trenches along the road.
He said the trend is worrying and made worse by daily traffic jams in Ongata Rongai town.
Kinuthia, blamed the county government town cleaners for leaving open gutters which have become a threat to many road users.
