A 32 year old man from Butula Sub County has offered to sell his kidney to address his economic challenges.
David Owino says maintaining his wife and two children had become difficult since he did not have a well-paying job.
Speaking to the press in Busia town on Saturday, Owino said the man he had known to be his father had not only become violent but discriminated against him and chased him away from home.
I have lived with the family over the years but became disappointed when the man I have known to be my father started treating me with cruelty after the death of my mother seven years ago, he said.
He added that he had made efforts to solve the issue with the local administration with the father promising to end the ill treatment on him.
Before the authorities, my father says that the issue is solved but when he goes on a drinking spree, he says he has no parcel of land to give me since he does not know my background, he added.
Owino added that one of his maternal uncles informed him that his late mother did not disclose his biological father to any member of the family.
He is appealing to well-wishers to assist him since he survives on menial jobs which give him Sh200-300 per day that could not enable him purchase a parcel of land for settlement.
