Man Threatened for Speaking Out On Teso Paralysed Kids

A man has fled his home after speaking out on behalf of children who were paralysed after treatment at a dispensary in Teso.

Mathias Edejai said a note was dropped at his home on Sunday night, warning him against speaking on the case.

About 30 children were paralysed after receiving injections at Akichelesit dispensary between April 2013 and June 2015.

“I have not had peace for three days,” Edejai said on Tuesday.

The Busia government is investigating.
