A land dispute at the High Court involving a 97-year-old widow has been stopped.
Anna Kimitei accused six former government officials of defrauding her.
But businessman Hasham Lalji obtained staying orders, seeking to be enjoined in the case as a witness.
Kimitei, who was the only witness, accused the six of invading her 787 acres in Eldoret and dividing it among themselves.
Former Nairobi land registrar Agnes Wangu is jointly charged alongside five other former senior civil servants with fraud.
The case, which has been pending for 11 years, will be mentioned on September 21.
