A Nakuru court yesterday ordered the release of three children arrested during the ongoing crackdown on illicit liquor. The children aged between three and 12 were arrested on July 5 in Mchanganyiko, Nakuru North constituency.
Through lawyer Steve Kabita, their aunt Milcah Kehuro on Monday filed an application to have them produced in court. She said they need care and protection after they were taken to Ahlul Bayt Children’s Home. Children’s Court magistrate Judicaster Nthuku questioned why the home took in the children without an order.
