Gor Mahia youth football club has an official kit sponsor for their home and away matches.
The club on Friday signed a lucrative three year deal with a Kisumu based radio station Dala FM.
The deal will see the Kogalo youth enjoy a regular monthly pay unlike in the past when their payment was irregular.
It will also include payment of stewards and match officials who officiate the Gor Mahia matches. The Youthful team will get an opportunity to play in better stadia as the sponsors will cater for the stadium cost.
Gor Mahia chairperson, Ambrose Rachier said during the signing ceremony the deal is non-exclusive and does not bar other willing sponsor to support the club.
There is no exclusivity clause in all contracts that we sign as a club, we welcome all willing sponsors to come on board and support the young talent, added Rachier.
Dala FM is the third corporate to sponsor Gor Mahia after Sportpesa that sponsors the senior team and Goma Lotto.
Dala FM representative, Nick Okelo said the deal does not involve a fixed amount of money but a commitment to support the club financially.
We will liaise with the club officials and the steering committee to ensure we release the amount required on time to facilitate smooth running of the club, added Okello.
Gor Mahia Youth matches will also be aired live on Lolwe TV one of Dala FM media outlet as part of the deal.
