Tourism Board has entered into talks with the Dubai Cooperation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, to cross-country promote tourism.
KTB yesterday said the partnership will involved information sharing and “establishing possible areas of collaboration, aimed at increasing traffic from Dubai to Kenya and vice versa”.
The two institutions met in Dubai this week. The Kenyan team was led by led by KTB acting marketing manager in charge of Africa Fatma Bashir and corporate communications manager Wausi Walya.
According to latest KTB data, tourism arrivals from UAE for the first eight months of 2015 recorded a 90.3 per cent increase, to 35,298 from 18,551 in a similar period last year.
