KENYA:GOVT LAUNCHES CRACKDOWN ON NIGHT CLUBS IN WAKE OF MURDER

NAIROBI,The government launched a crackdown on nightclubs across Mombasa County in the wake of the murder of a thirty-five-year-old banker last Sunday.

The death of David Wokabi happened on 7th January at three a.m at Naivas Center in Nyali.

According to CCTV footage obtained by Channel One, David Wokabi was beaten unconscious for allegedly urinating at a parking lot and succumbed to his injuries seven days later.

Wokabi at some point during the night goes out and relieves himself at the parking lot then later attempts to drive off from the joint but not before sparking a confrontation with the security guards.

The five are then seen forcefully removing him from his vehicle.

Beatings would follow from the five before a final blow by one the suspects that sent him to the ground.

His wife Grace Wokabi received a call from Jocham Hospital where her husband had already been wheeled as an emergency case.
