NAIROBI, Kenya, Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta, called for an effective public service, to help Africa achieve sustainable development.
Kenyatta, who addressed the seventh Africa Public Service Day in Nairobi, said, the continent’s governments and those entrusted with management of public resources must do so in an accountable, transparent and responsible manner.
It is for this reason that my administration has laid emphasis on the issue of good governance within the Public Service, as well as, heightening our efforts to combat corruption, he said.
