THE Jubilee Parliamentary Group will meet soon to iron out differences over National Assembly majority leader Aden Duale, an official has said.
On Monday, Nyeri MPs called for Duale’s impeachment for allegedly backing terrorism.
The legislators gave the Garissa Town MP seven days to come up with the list of al Shabaab financiers and sympathisers as he promised three months ago or step aside.
Donating shoes in Ragati Primary School, Nyeri, on Tuesday, TNA executive director Joseph Mathai said the PG will meet to unite members.
“The meeting will bring together the disgruntled parties and the issues will be solved because we must remain united,” he said.
Mathai said the concerns regarding Duale risk tearing the coalition apart ahead of the 2017 general election.
The MPs who slammed Duale include Kanini Kega (Kieni), Ndung’u Gethenji (Tetu), Peter Weru (Mathira), Mary Wambui (Othaya) and Esther Murugi (Nyeri Town), among others.
