Health facility set to be built in Rangwe

Residents of Aoch Muga village in Kamawi sub location Rangwe constituency who have been traveling long distances for medical services now have a reason to smile after the construction of a health facility in the area was commissioned Tuesday.

Kamawi which is the only sub location in Rangwe constituency that did not have a medical facility will have the facility built on a seven hectare land to take care of common illnesses affecting the community.

The community project Chairperson, Philip Agola Okumu said residents have been experiencing difficulties while seeking medical services since they were forced to travel long distances.

The project is being funded by Homa bay County government and development partners.
