The Eldoret youth FC has already confirmed its place in the national super league after beating Kisii based Shabana 1-0 who are now second placed with 53 points.
With only two matches on the cards Youth FC have 63 points with an unbeaten run, winning 19 matches and drawn only once; they are yet to lose any game since the season began.
Though the team had challenges, their spirit was up and Raul Kipruto, a former player who is now the sponsor of the club has single handedly made sure the dream of his late mum of supporting sports is achieved.
I have given them food, a place to sleep (club house) and allowances for motivation, this weekend they are visitors to third placed Transfoc FC then they invite St Joseph on the day they will be crowned, said Kipruto.
Their coach ‘Mafuta’ a former Bungoma all-stars trainer is confident that his boys will finish unbeaten considering their determination.
They have proven their odds and are looking forward to the national super league, he said
Lake based Nyakach United and Griffin from Eldama Ravine have been relegated to division two after achieving 13 and five points respectively.
Shabana will have to travel to the city for play offs at the end of the month at camp Toyoyo in Jericho.
