THE 21th edition of Kenya Technical Institutions Sports Association games kicks off today at Eldoret Polytechnic. The two-day event will see various institutions compete in different disciplines including soccer, netball, volleyball and basketball. According to Ketisa chairperson Joyce Nyanjom, preparations are complete and participants are ready for the action. “We have been holding our championships here and the ground is good,” She said.
She said the games will give the students a platform to showcase their talent which if well exploited, will benefit them in the long run.
Eldoret Polytechnic men will be defending their football and volleyball titles while Nairobi Technical Training College will be seeking to retain their women’s volleyball crown. National Youth Service-Engineering defend their netball title while Nairobi Technology Development College and Kisumu Polytechnic will defend the men and women’s basketball respectively. Eldoret Poly soccer team will be seeking their 10th title.
