Eldoret ASK show preparations complete

Preparations for this year’s Eldoret Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) show are almost complete, ASK Eldoret Branch Chairman, Ratcliff Nangalama has said.

We have invited 250 exhibitors and so far 115 have confirmed attendance and we expect the remaining to confirm by the end of the week. We also have 15 exhibitors from Tanzania and Uganda, said Nangalama while addressing the press at Eldoret showground on Wednesday.

Nangalama hoped the show will be successful. We want to make this year’s show bigger than before, he said the event will have a lot of research institutions in Agriculture and Technology.

I urge farmers from the North Rift region to come out in large numbers and have a case study on the new Agriculture technology that will help improve their yields, he said.

The theme for this year’s Eldoret ASK show is ‘promoting innovation in Agriculture and Trade.

Exhibitors and participants have also been assured that there will be adequate water.

The Eldoret ASK show is expected to run from 7th -10th March 2018.
