Redeemed Gospel Church National Presiding Bishop Kepha Omae Saturday decried rising cases of infidelity in marriage institutions.
Speaking during a mass wedding ceremony at Redeemed Gospel Church in Kisii town , Bishop Omae called upon couples to respect each other in a bid to help fight immorality in the society.
Noting that many vices in the society could be fought from the marriage institution, Omae urged couples to live a righteous life and teach their children uprightness.
At least 12 couples formalised their unions during the event which was marked by heavy rains throughout the day.
Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika said the mass wedding was the way to go during harsh times adding that it was cost effective for the marrying couples.
She applauded the host South Nyanza region Bishop Moses Chengo for giving the right teachings of the word of God, which have helped equip the church with life skills.
A luncheon was later held at Kisii sports club and a road show followed.
