“Catch Up” Campaign Launched

Secretary for Ministry of Health Dr Cleopa Mailu flanked by Secretary General, Kenya Red Cross, Abbas Gullett (on his immediate left) flag off a convoy of trucks with health supplies at Afya House in Nairobi, launches the Catch up Campaign by flagging off trucks, teams and destined to eleven of Kenya’s most vulnerable Counties that have remained unreached with critical health services such as routine immunization for children and antenatal care for pregnant women among others.

The Counties include Turkana, Lamu, Marsabit, Isiolo, Wajir, Mandera, Garissa, Tana River, Samburu, West Pokot and Baringo. Dr Mailu said his Ministry in collaboration with the Kenya Red Cross, UNICEF and other partners launches the campaign as one of the stop gaps measures to avoid reversal of the hard earned gains, especially with the cessation of provision of primary health care service occasioned by the ongoing strike.
