THE abuse of office case of suspended Transport Cabinet Secretary Michael Kamau was adjourned yesterday.
Kamau is charged alongside Mwangi Maingi, Gilbert Arasa, Philip Sika, Raphael Okubo, Sylus Gitau, Charles Mubweka, Nicholas Ng’anga and Kaka Kithyo.
They are also charged with failure to follow procurement rules. Kamau faces additional charges of failing to comply with guidelines on the management of public funds.
They have all denied the charges and are out on Sh1 million bail each. Nairobi senior principal magistrate Lawrence Mugambi set the hearing for October 26.
