Bidico United’s Vincent Waweru and John Walubuka scored a goal each to beat Administration Police 2-0 in a National League Match played at the Thika Stadium Friday.
Administration police played most of the game less one man after their midfielder was red carded in the first half for a second bookable offence.
Bidico united head coach Antony Akhulia said he was proud of the performance by his players during the first half because they scored two early goals and defended well throughout the game to earn the win.
My boys followed my instructions because in the beginning of the match the defense was not good as I had planned but come the end of the first half they improved thus finishing the match with a win, said Akhulia.
Akhulia said at the start of the league they were among the bottom teams but they have continuously improved their game.
Administration police head coach Charles Omondi said they lost the match due to lack of concentration and individual mistakes during the first half but after the second half players followed his instructions and piled enough pressure on the opponents.
Omondi said they could have scored a goal in the second half but football is a game of chances where you win if you utilize your chances.
Omondi said they will play Ushuru on Sunday in a match expected to be difficult but God willing we are praying for a win.
