Austrian Markus Muhlbock married his Kenyan sweetheart Gladys Kiranto in a colourful ceremony held at the Shartuka Secondary School grounds on Saturday afternoon.
Muhlbock met Gladys who hails from Osupuko area of Trans Mara West Sub County three years ago in Austria. They fell in love and later solemnised their wedding in Austria last year. The two lovebirds decided to take their vows in Kenya for the benefit of their friends and relatives.
The guests enjoyed the grand reception held at the Shartuka Boys hall. There were traditional Maasai musicians who provided the entertainment. The couple and their guests from Austria left for the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. They will have their honeymoon, while their relatives will be watching the Wildbeeste migration before flying back to their native country next week.
