The national government will spend Sh220 million in the provision of equipment to 159 Constituency Industrial Development Centres (CIDC) in this financial year 2020/2021. A World Bank funded programme in Siaya County has allocated Sh18m to train 13,000 farmers on skills to improve productivity and marketing.
