Simba Corp, holders of the SAME Tractors franchise in Kenya, has opened a national mobile after-sales and spare parts support service.
The company said it has set up a SAME genuine spare parts centre, with a capacity of more than 5,000 manufacturer parts at its head office in Nairobi. It is estimated that there are more than 4,000 SAME tractors in the Kenyan market.
Simba Corp executive director, Dinesh Kotecha said plans are on course to relaunch SAME Tractors in Kenya by year end.
“Alongside the ongoing genuine spare parts centre set-up, we have also invested heavily in technical training for our staff to enable them deliver the renowned SAME tractors quality of service,” he said.
The spare part centre will facilitate the distribution of genuine spare parts and accessories to new and existing clients.
“We are very keen to spearhead this after-sales platform for our customers. Our investment in providing exemplary after sales support re-inforces our commitment towards being the leader in customer satisfaction,” Simba Corp Agriculture Division brand manager, Robin Schalch, said.
He said Simba Corp’s Agriculture division will provide backup support for SAME through Simba’s branches in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu and Kisii as well as dealer network across the country for customers’ convenience.
“If our customer is in Kisumu, they’ll only need to walk into our local showroom in Kisumu to access genuine SAME spare parts” added Schalch.
Simba Corp has also appointed three dealers to commence sales of SAME tractors and OTMA implements namely, Automobile Warehouse (Nakuru, Eldoret), Multi-line (Nairobi) and Kentrac (Narok).
