SHOWBUZZ: Necessary Noize on a re-union tour

Popular group Necessary Noize is back on the performance trail after a long break.

The members, Wyre and Nazizi, took a break over five years ago to concentrate on their solo projects and are now back together performing in different places in what they refer to as “re-union concerts”.

A week ago, the two performed at the Sarakasi Dome while on Thursday, they gave a headlining performance at the Industry Nite, held at the Galileo Lounge in Nairobi.

Necessary Noize started originally with three members, but Bamzigi left the group in a controversial way after their first album in early 2000s.

The duo did very well mid-2000s under Blu Zebra Records, before going their separate ways to concentrate on solo projects.
