The arrest of Nation’s John Ngirachu reminds us of the dark days when those who dared to expose the ills of the government were arbitrary arrested, tortured, jailed, and even intimidated with death threats extending to their loved ones.

Since when did exposing the rot in government become a threat to national security?

Using the excuse of national security to punish those pointing out the inefficiencies in government and muzzling the media belong in the medieval ages.
