Let’s shun tribalism and embrace togetherness

As long as communities continue electing one of their own, tribalism and marginalisation are here to stay.

I refer to the recent vow by a section of Luhya leaders to marshal their community members to vote for one of their own.

As long as we continue to isolate ourselves behind our tribes, then scourges such as nepotism, tribalism, racism, corruption, and marginalisation will not end.

Kenyans need to embrace the spirit of togetherness and identify as one nation, one people.
