The high rate of corruption in the public and private sectors is hurting the country’s economy and shows lack of oversight by elected leaders.
It shows how insincere our MPs, Senators and MCAs are.
The legislators should realise that they represent Kenyans and not tribal groupings or party affiliations.
They are not genuine in fighting corruption and have publicly taken sides, even defending state officials accused of corruption.
The President does not inspire much confidence in the fight against corruption, either, going by the billions of shillings said to have been lost under his watch.
