Chase Bank and DHL Express on Wednesday won the 2015 Best Company to Work For in the medium-sized and large-sized categories.
The bank attributed its victory to staff efforts to grow its customer base, which rose to 500,000 this year, mostly drawn from the SME sector.
It was closely followed by the Kenya Women Finance Trust and the third position went to East African Breweries.
In the medium-sized category, DHL topped, with its representative Kennedy Kaunda saying its 226 employees are behind its efficient and prompt delivery of parcels that helped attract more business.
Proctor and Gamble, which was named the industry segment winner, was declared runners-up while Vivo Energy settled for the third position in the medium-sized company category.
ICEA Lion and KWFT were named winners in the Financial Service Insurance and Finance Service General segments respectively.
Deloitte East Africa Partner Kimani Njoroge said though money attracted the best employees to a company, experience had shown that letting employees exploit their individual talents helped many to remain and see their own efforts bring in returns.
